Hello everyone! This is more of a fun article that I decided to write because the two cards that I base the article off of is....

and combined with these are....

yea... not so good. But it could make for an awesome article! (or not)

High Point, NC Battle Roads Report

Hey everyone so after going 1-3 in the first Battle Road with Groudon, Mewtwo, Terrakion NVI, Registeel I was really mad because the only other times this happened was when I went 0-3 and 1-4 at a prerelease. So I decided to redeem myself! I didn't even get to test until Sunday afternoon because I had to go somewhere where I entertained myself trying to beat Pokemon Silver (best...game...ever). On Monday I went to another Battle Road so before I give you the actual report let's take a look at what happened on the days before the tournament.

7 Decks and Thier Techs

Taking a Different Path…
Well… after writing a really long article on Accelgor for this site, I clicked submit and everything but 200 words got deleted. Oh well. So after that happened I decided to do something new! Today I will write an article about every meta deck in this format, including 7 skeleton lists, and every tech that I could find for each one! Also included is a mini Battle Road report where I did absolutely horrible.

Card of the Week- Darkrai EX

-Congrats Igor Costa for winning Worlds with this deck!

When Darkrai was released, it was good.
When Darkrai was at Spring Battle Roads, it was good.
When Darkrai was at Nationals, it was good.
When Darkrai was invading top 8 at worlds, it was good.
When Darkrai was suffering a format change, it was good.

Ever since Darkrai EX's release, it was a good card. Not good. Amazing. Darkrai was the BDIF during Spring Battle Roads, Nationals, and Worlds, and will likely remain 2 of the best 4 decks during Fall Battle Roads and Fall Regionals. Come again.
Amazing

Schedule

Hi everyone so right now I'm looking at my computer with nothing to do but write. I have no idea when any article will be written so I figured I might as well give YOU a schedule!
In this mini-article (or is that a COTW, I don't know what this would be) I will talk about my writing schedule for every week. (Some might be a little off in some weeks, like if I want to do a last minute article for Regionals, Nats, or Worlds.)

Monday-Tournament Report (or maybe battle video)
Tuesday-
Wednesday-Mystery Stuff (Guest Writer or something like a new set review)
Thursday-
Friday-Deck Article

Saturday-
Sunday- Card of the Week

'Plasma Gale' revealed cards! (to be updated with new ones regularly)

Hey world!
So I've done a few articles so far and I'm starting to become a better writer already. This article will be about Japan's new set coming out! If you haven't already guessed so far it's 'Plasma Gale'. Plasma Gale will feature Pokemon that belong to Team Plasma, and have 'Team Plasma' in their name.
In this article I will talk about every Plasma Gale card and what they do, along with regular updates on any new cards revealed!

Garchomp/ Altaria- Next Luxchomp or Next Lostgar?

-Fluffychomp!

Today's article will be on a deck that has received a lot of hype and I am here to give you my opinion on it, 2 lists, card explanations, and we will see if it is the next Luxchomp or the next Lostgar! Wow. That's a lot!

Fluffychomp--Garchomp/Altaria

Fluffychomp is a deck that has received a lot of hype. But under all of that Hype lies one thing. A reason. Every time something is expected to be good there has to be a reason. Here are the results from week 1 of the Japanese Spring Battle Carnival events.

Tournament 1

1st- Darkrai EX/Hydriegon
2nd- Garchomp/Altaria
3rd- Eelektrik/Zekrom/Mewtwo EX/Raikou EX
4th- Terrakion EX/Mewtwo EX/Bouffalant

So as you can see this deck started when someone took it to week 1 and took 2nd in an undeveloped metagame. In the first week of a tournament series decks are undeveloped and simple quick decks can take easy wins. Lets look at week 2.

Card of the Week- Raikou EX

Today will be my first COTW. In a COTW, I explain the card's qualities, the price, and the decks it could be used in. I also don't usually have an intro.

When this card was released, it was said to be good, after Battle Roads people thought it was bad and had no use in Eelektrik decks. Then at U.S. Nationals, a group of North Carolina players piloted it to an (almost) victory using heavy focus on the Raikou and Mewtwo.

An Introduction

 Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Hunter Hawkins and I live the USA. I have been playing for 2 consecutive years, this being my third. I am generally an easy to get along with guy who is very competitive and likes sports, pokemon, and chess.

Tournament Accomplishments

Having played for a while, my tournament record isn't the best, despite the knowledge I have of the game.
